Content management system
About content management system -CMS-
With the introduction of CMS, it is possible to manage and update WEB sites efficiently.Using CMS, web sites can be updated easily by submitting only texts, or images, while the CMS controls all the other components which need specialized knowledge. However for web sites with large product volumes, sites with complicated product compositions, or sites that require frequent changes of product information, the operational benefits of using a CMS cannot be obtained unless connected to a DAM system.
By managing product images and illustrations, specifications and price information with DAM, and allowing flexible changes or addition of information, web sites can be updated automatically through the CMS. At the same time an ideal extensive single-source publishing environment can be realized, as it becomes possible to deploy the updated information of the DAM system to DTP systems such as catalogs.
