Lotte is a world-famous food production company found in Japan. As a global food enterprise, they strictly maintain high level in product study and development, quality assurance, and marketing. In July 2020, they established "Lotte Medipalette", a media platform publishing "highly reliable" articles for healthcare issues. To ensure the quality of the website and provide practical solution to the customers, Lotte takes 3 months to create an article, which included procedures such as keyword analysis, categories design and webpage usability adjustment.

Improve the efficiency of Product Information Management
There are multiple healthcare products registered on Medipalette. Before implementing CIERTO, the administrator managed the product information through spreadsheets. However, there are over 100 products, it is difficult to manage all the information by just relying on spreadsheets, which renewal of the list, increase of tabs and sheets were still not taken into account. But after using CIERTO PIM, the administrator can manage all the information including product name, images, specifications on one single platform. No need to increase the pages of spreadsheets, no need to spend time to find where the data is stored, they can manage the information effectively.

CMS Integration: Accelerate the Speed of Information Distribution
Like what have been mentioned, Lotte managed their product information with spreadsheets, and import all files to CMS while they are exporting data to the online platforms. For now, they can integrate CIERTO PIM with the external system by API: information registered and renewed on CIERTO PIM will be automatically displayed on the mapped platforms. Lotte can enjoy a speedy data distribution without manual registration.

Using both DAM and PIM: Maximize the Effectiveness
The function which helps our works on CIERTO DAM is we can directly set the image format and customized the size while downloading on the platform. For CIERTO PIM, the interface and format of product information style became much more clear and easy-to-understand, it really helps the editors to create the article. Even the user is not a representative of a product, it can also input or modify the information quickly with CIERTO simple operations. Besides, the supporting system of VPJ is great and fast, they always answer our request or/questions quickly and our jobs can go smoothly too. We are now considering using CIERTO to manage all the images and contents in other cloud services. Hopefully we can see more new updates for CIERTO, and we can have a more flexible production management in the future.

Flexible Information Management System
On CIERTO PIM, you can create categories flexibly according to the nature of the product/product groups. For example, users can create categories of "food" and "health products", and put attributes like "information of the ingredients" and "textures" with them respectively. Moreover, it is simple to add or renew the categories in admin interface even the system is operating, which absolutely satisfy the managers and fit our needs. We are now having over 180 categories now, which can support a wide range of products.

High Searchability
Before using CIERTO, we had to find out which spreadsheet the product information located on every time. On CIERTO PIM, we can create categories like "food" "beverages" on the platform directly, it is much more easy to find out where the information located. In fact, the way of categorization is suggested by VPJ, they provide the optimize operational style based on the needs of users. The diverse search methods like combining "category AND keyword", or the "Search List" function reduced our working time for getting the precise information.

Automatic Image Mapping with DAM and PIM
Not only text information, you have to put product images on the webpage in order to attract the readers. We used to manage the images on file server, which had a different location with the text information, it spent a lot of time to search and combine both data. But on CIERTO, image file can be automatically mapped with the text information, by naming the image stored in DAM in the product item number indicated on PIM (e.g. 12345.png). We do not need to map the information by manual anymore, things can be done in a very short time.

Batch Information Renewal and Workload Reduction
A big problem of using spreadsheet for information management is "renewal": data has to be modified everyday, it is inefficient to do the changes by manual. On CIERTO PIM, we can have batch information renewal by using csv file. Just insert the modification on csv file, upload it to CIERTO, and you can renew all the data at once. We are now planning to register the product information of the associated company on CIERTO PIM, to reduce the workload of data renewal.
