Extensive File Preview Function
You can preview different kinds of assets on CIERTO directly without any other installations. Not only image and video, but also 3DCG, Adobe CC, PDF, Office, HTML, CAD file via built-in viewers in CIERTO.

Search tool
By using tags of CIERTO advanced searching tool including names of file and folder, data format, registration date of the data and file information, you can discover what you want quickly from large amounts of data. You can also search information by hitting the metadata and annotation of the asset. Besides, CIERTO is embedded with a full-text search function and AI search engine, which can satisfy the needs of different stakeholders.
Data Delivery Involving Both Internal and External Stakeholders
Administrators can assign different access permissions (e.g. preview only, download only) to each user by using “Guess Link” Function. While guest receives the link, they can access CIERTO easily via WEB Browsers without installing any applications. It allows all the project participants, no matter inside and outside the company, to share the contents efficiently.
Metadata Design and Maintenance
User permission on viewing or editing the metadata on CIERTO can be controlled easily according to the needs of users/administrators. During maintenance, users can export metadata information of multiple files or folders in a CSV file, OR import CSV file with metadata information to upload or renew the data.
Flexible File Operations
Data movement, copying, renaming, deletion, and folder creation can all be performed via WEB Browser. Besides, with the“Drag-and-Drop" function, assets within CIERTO can be arranged and classified easily, allowing quick system setup while enabling a file server style operation.

Content Distribution eith Guest Users
Users with CIERTO ID and password can share permissions including upload, download, preview, and comment/annotate, to a guest who doesn’t have an account . Besides, CIERTO users can create “guest users” without limitations. Even if there is an emergency data request, or you need to share a large amount of data, “guest users” function helps you to share the data promptly.
Online Proofing and Progress Tracking
With CIERTO, users can perform online proofing by adding comments and annotations via WEB browser. Files will be saved in different versions automatically once the asset is reuploaded. Users can check and review the past proofing records by clicking the “Version” button. In order to invite more members to track the works, you can also give permissions of comment/annotation to all guest users who participate in the project.
Cloud Production
By integrating the CIERTO plugin with Adobe CC, files in InDesign and Illustrator format can be accessed and browsed directly on CIERTO. You can also place images through InDesign by using “drag-and-drop”. By using low-resolution images (for layout), works can proceed smoothly without network constraints. Data will be renewed automatically after saving the work.
Version Management
Once users overwrite a file, a new version will be created automatically. You can view and check the data of previous versions freely. This function will be helpful especially when you are proofing the works as it provides you references in correcting your works.
Automation
File operations such as automatic notifications via email and chat, copying, moving, and deleting are triggered by actions like registering or changing metadata, and moving or uploading files. This is useful for sharing data submission information with different stakeholders, or organizing past data at specified times.
Output your contact sheet
Users can select a specific content and generate a contact sheet with metadata in PDF format through CIERTO. In other words, you can create a product list in CIERTO directly, and there is no need to process other contact sheets via Photoshop.
Manage your data by “Collection"
"Collection" feature on CIERTO is similar to a “bookmarking” function. You can create a collection and put information and images frequently used into the group. It allows users to quickly access the bookmarked assets during the meeting. Here is another way to utilize "Collection”: you can group assets into a collection, and ask your manager to select and review the materials or contents.
Multimedia distribution and brand reinforcement
Image Format Conversion and Downloading
When you need to put high-resolution PSD files on websites or in proposals, you have to change its format into JPEG or PNG. Similarly, you have to convert images into a suitable format when putting it on the EC site. With CIERTO, you can convert the file into a different format, adjust the resolution, change the size of the images by a quick trimming tool, or even add color space on the image before downloading it. There is no need to request designers or production companies using Adobe Photoshop to do any image conversions.
Video Storyboard and Still Image Extraction
Users can preview video files directly on CIERTO. On its “Storyboard View” Panel, video will be divided into frames per each second. It allows users to find out a specific scene without playing the entire video. It is also convenient that users can extract a particular scene from the video and convert it into a JPEG or PNG file, in order to create a proposal or report.
Video Clipping and Format Conversion (Transcoding)
Same as image data, CIERTO allows users to convert the format of video. Users can trim any parts of the video by indicating specific duration(s) and download the file. With the simple editing feature, users can distribute their content on platforms such as YouTube or product homepage in the required formats efficiently. This feature is particularly useful when sharing short commercial (company or product introductions) videos on YouTube.
Utilizing Image Conversion Presets
By using predefined presets, users can quickly generate images that conform to the requirements of websites or EC sites. Multiple presets can be configured depending on the number of sites, significantly reducing the need for manual file conversion tasks.
Appropriate Management of CI and VI Content
CIERTO centralizes the management of CI and VI content, such as logos, trademarks, and characters, including color and font information. This enables quick searching and utilization of assets, allowing designers and marketing teams to efficiently select the necessary ones.
Restrictions and Compliance Issues
Licensing, Copyright, Image Rights Management
CIERTO strengthens compliance management by controlling copyright and image rights of the assets. Metadata such as license period, rights holder, and usage scope can be registered for each assets. The expiration alert can avoid unauthorized use of assets. Additionally, the centralized management of image rights information enables quick and accurate utilization, supports risk mitigation and proper content use.
Content Expiration Management
CIERTO enables contents expiration management based on the copyright and portrait rights policies. Watermark will be automatically inserted into the preview, and file download is restricted after the expiration date. This strengthens corporate compliance and improves the credibility of company. Download / Upload Request
CIERTO's download and upload request feature simplifies the approval process for data usage. When users submit requests to download or upload images and files, administrators can review them and either approve or reject the requests. Improving Searchability through Automated Tagging
While uploading a new image data, CIERTO's AI tool generates tags automatically, by analyzing its characteristics such as subjects (human being, animals), objects, scenery and colors of the image. Access Control and Operation Log
On CIERTO, you can set different access and functional restrictions towards different user ID/PW. The setting allows server administrators to set operational rules and data utilization methods for both internal and external users flexibly, which is beneficial for company to establish the operation rules of DAM. Additionally, access logs and activity logs for each user are managed and collected. Promotion and Restriction of Usage via SAML Authentication
CIERTO integrated with SAML authentication services. It allows user authentication without having ID/password. Additionally, it is possible to authenticate attribute information associated with the ID/password for access control such as restricting access to specific functions to only certain departments.

It is possible to perform bulk extraction and conversion of images linked within InDesign files. Analysis only takes place in the masked areas on the layout. Integration with External Systems including DAM
In addition to specify folders on Pixometry server as the upload location, it is also possible to specify folders on CIERTO DAM or file servers on the network. These folders can be monitored, allowing automatic processing to start as soon as data is registered.
Integration with Typesetting Plugin (Optional Feature | EasyCatalog)
Bi-directional Integration with Information Sources
EasyCatalog is a plug-in software of Adobe InDesign. Users can create automatic typesetting easily by inputting product information and images data through InDesign with EasyCatalog. You can connect the software with database including CIERTO, and also with Excel, Oracle, PostgreSQL and MYSQL. Additionally, due to its bi-directional integration capabilities, it is not only possible to import source data into InDesign, but it is also available to send typesetting information back to the source, ensuring seamless updates to information sources.
Ensuring Consistency Between Source Data and InDesign
The data processed on EasyCatalog can be displayed in tabular form on the InDesign panel. The panel supports sorting, grouping, and filtering, data can be organized according to the intended layout before proceeding with typesetting. Furthermore, by comparing the status of the panel, InDesign document and source data, discrepancies are highlighted in the panel to prevent errors and ensuring data consistency.
Bulk Data Input and InDesign Template
By leveraging InDesign's template and library features, layout work can be streamlined. Multiple templates, consisting of master pages and small layouts, can be combined and used while setting up automatic typesetting. Additionally, by using the header, footer, and object adjustment features, users can process both pages with consistency/inconsitency. Bulk data import can be simply done by just drag and drop the information from the panel into the InDesign template.
