There was no unified image management system for Morinaga, even they release over hundreds of products and images every year, data were stored in separate systems. As a result, the staffs had to do a cross-system search to find the proper materials. It was time-consuming and brought heavy workload to the teams.

Limited ways for file and data searching
The previous data management system for Morinaga has a limited ways for data searching. When the staff had to search for more detailed information like JAN code, size of product or the release date, it was difficult to hit the accurate results as there was no way to search for date or JAN code directly.

Speed up data search: CIERTO diverse search methods
Besides product name or codes, user can hit the precise data by using release date, JAN code, information of the factory…the method to search is no longer monotonous. User can also do AND/OR search by applying multiple conditions to get information more accurately.

Time-consuming image editing and outputting processes
In the past, the staffs had to edit or process the image or video data with specific applications like Photoshop or Illustrator. Thus, they had to download the data, opened it with a suitable software, and reuploaded to the system again after editing. The procedures were time-consuming.

Direct format/image quality conversion and image trimming on CIERTO
Even user does not have an Adobe software, he/she can simply do format conversion or trimming on CIERTO. User can turn data to the format they need conveniently without using extra applications or reuploading files.

The biggest reason for us choosing CIERTO is it really manages our critical assets, all our previous and new brand contents and product design well. Convenient Image Checking Tool and Reliable Privacy Setting
When we had to check the package design, we needed to use Adobe Illustrator to do so, which means the process had to be done out of the system. But now we can simply check and preview the Adobe files on CIERTO without using other software. Besides, the privacy setting of CIERTO is reliable, once the admin turned off the permission of volume/folder, users without permission cannot access the artworks with high confidentiality. It protects the data security, and we can use the service relieved.

Text Search for Package Information
"Search function of CIERTO is convenient. You can set multiple conditions like product code, size of package, release date at once to hit the information precisely. More importantly, you can do full-text search for the packages or artworks created by Adobe Illustrator, which means you can search text on the nutrition label to ensure the critical information is correct. There is also a ranking of keyword usage rate to help us to confirm which words are frequently used in our products and unify the wording. "

External System Integration and Auto Assets Registration
We integrated CIERTO with our product master system, product information for various items attached to product images is automatically imported to CIERTO once a day. The representative can search data he/she wants easily by just inserting the metadata. While the searchability increased, the representative does not need to split assets into numbers of categories/folders for identification. In addition, the automatic data transfer reduced mistakes or oversights compare with the manual data transfer.

Efficient Content Sharing with Partners and Customers
How we shared file to our partners and customers was to collect all the targeted files, convert/resize the data, put them into a folder, compress it and send it through email. But now, we can simply share the files through CIERTO by creating a URL and password. The one who received the URL can review or download the data without complicated procedures. The file sharing system of CIERTO reduced the workload of our marketing and sales teams, and also the load for partners and customers.
